Quillows! The amazing quilt-pillows

I was going through my closet the other day looking for another set of sheets (so I could avoid doing my laundry for another week) and I found my old quillow. One of my church leaders made it for me when I was just a little chicklet and I loved that thing! It was the BEST for road trips and sleepovers and impromptu camping trips. You could just shove your PJs and an extra pair of undies and socks in the pocket and take off. Or when you're cuddling up under one you slip your feet into the pocket so your toes never sneak out and get cold. All and all it's amazing and SUPER SIMPLE to make. There's not even binding involved!

AND of course how to fold it:
Now I'm planning on making one for my nephew in rocket fabric as soon as I get back home (I'm on vacation right now) and I'll post pictures as soon as it's done. The lovely thing about these is that they are pretty much an afternoon project (unless you get all fancy--which I will undoubtedly do). They also make great gifts and they're an attractive way to store the blanket you usually throw over the back of the sofa in a lump (especially if you make the pocket piece really decorative) Also I've seen some with handles for easy carrying--not a bad idea if you ask me. :)

And if you find any cool ideas for them, or make your own feel free to send picture and links! I'd love to see what you've created! (warning: chances are I'll post any pictures you send on here unless you ask me not to)
