So this is a fringe scarf that I noticed on a pattern (McCalls 6214) as I was flipping through a big old book I had to wrestle from a deaf old lady at Jo-Ann's. All the other stuff on the pattern was ugly, but I do like things that dangle. And then it hit me! what a great way to upcycle old t-shirts (especially the boring back sides that don't make it on to your t-shirt quilt).I have yet to make this, but It can't be hard to extrapolate from this picture. the pattern calls for 1-1/8th yd. I'm not sure what that translates into as far as large t-shirts go, but that's half the fun of making things like this. Anyway I don't have a pattern or even a half-way decent tutorial to go with this right now, but I will someday....maybe. But for now, be inspired, try it out, write your own tutorial and then tell me so I can link to you. :)
