Quillows Part Two

I don't know about you guys, but I have a GAZILLION fat quarters hanging around my "stash" causing mischief. Here's a good way to reform them into contributing members of society! Just square them all up to the same size, somewhere around 17-1/2" x 22-1/2", and sew 12 of them together (3 x 4). Take one or two more and make the pocket. Use an old sheet (we do love repurpossing!) OR a new one OR 2-1/2 yds. of 60" wide fabric. Voila, stash busted! The finished size will be approximately 88" x 51" Granted I haven't tried this yet, so I'm not sure it'll all fit in the pocket. Use a low loft cotton batting (or an old blanket) just to be safe. If you try this before I do let me know how it goes--pretty please. OH, and send pictures!

This is about how I'm envisioning it:
I love the idea of outlining each fat quarter for the quilting. Maybe doing something in the middle would be fun too. Depends on who it's being given too and what designs are in the fabrics themselves. After all, it's always nice to repeat a motif. Let me know if you have any other ideas that could make this even better!
